This training will focus on the 5 key skills of Jolly Phonics — Letter Sounds, Letter Formation, Blending, Segmenting and Tricky Words — through practical activities that can be implemented in the classroom or at home. Ongoing support throughout the 2026–2027 academic year is included.

Shenelle De Lisle

Shenelle De Lisle

Shenelle De Lisle is the founder of S. De Lisle The Reading Lens and an educator with 14 years of primary teaching experience in Trinidad and Tobago as well as the United States. She holds a Graduate Certificate in Dyslexia from the University of Florida and has specialized in Jolly Phonics instruction since 2018. She has also worked as an inclusion specialist in a primary school, providing reading intervention and coordinating support services for neurodivergent students. Shenelle currently works as an independent Reading Intervention Teacher, providing small-group and individual literacy instruction to beginning and struggling readers across Trinidad and Tobago and the wider Caribbean.
