Transforming Literacy in Assam

This short film follows the journey of the Jolly Futures in Assam Literacy Project.  

From its beginnings in six pilot schools in 2022, to 400 government schools in 2023, and today, more than 2,200 government schools that have participated in the programme.

It explores the challenges teachers and pupils faced, how Jolly Phonics was introduced to support early literacy, and the positive impact the project has had on classrooms across the region.
